Stevens Rowsell (Precision) Ltd Awarded Sussex Business of the Year!

A sheet metal engineering and fabrication company is celebrating after winning the prestigious title of Business of the Year for Sussex at the Southern Business Awards held at The Grand Hotel in Brighton on September 5. This high-status event celebrated the finest in business achievements across the entire south coast and was sponsored by Rolls Royce with a number of national companies and banks sponsoring individual categories. The Awards included the winners of all the regional award categories from Chichester, Lancing, Worthing, Brighton, Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings.

Stevens Rowsell were recognized in no fewer than 3 different business categories but secured the much coveted top award of the night during a glitzy ceremony hosted by legendary TV presenter Fred Dinenage

Stevens Rowsell are located on the Churchfields Industrial Estate in Hastings, employ 30 staff within a modern 20,000sq ft factory and offer high tech manufacturing capacity in laser cutting, punching, folding, welding and assembly.

The business is no stranger to success having picked up the 1066 Investors in Training Award and Best Business of the Year Award earlier this year as well as the Best Practice Lean Manufacturing Business for Sussex in 2010 – awarded by the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) in recognition of their outstanding commitment to business improvements and lean manufacturing.
