Two days of excellent work!

At the Southern manufacturing exhibition on 6-7th February, we had a busy time with many visitors and potential clients popping onto our stand. It was clear our efforts had paid off within only a few hours after the doors had opened. Tiring as it was the show went extremely well for us and we were complimented on the quality and impact of our stand from numerous visitors and exhibitors alike. We picked up about 20 keen enquiries of which 1 has already become a trading customer. We had highlighted our core business and showed off many of our specialised skills especially our ability at high quality process and turn-round. Our latest brochure shows off all of our large capacity punching, folding and cutting machinery.

Hastings based sub-contract sheet metal engineering company Stevens Rowsell & Co Ltd have constructed a 10002 ft factory extension to accommodate the installation of the latest fully automated CNC Laser Cutting machine, which is the largest sub-contract manufacturing facility of its kind in the UK. The laser cell facility incorporates two 8m high material storage towers and an automated handling system which feeds the 4kw laser machine allowing sheet metal to be cut without any loading / unloading interruption or operative related downtime.
The efficiency of the facility has enabled Stevens Rowsell to offer extremely fast turn
round times on laser profiling work enhancing its position as a service driven and
